Part 2, British commandos make an amphibious assault on Walcheren Island, Netherlands, as warships bombard the island with rockets. German prisoners carry wounded commandos on stretchers. Part 3, U.S. troops advance on Leyte in the Philippines as Gen. MacArthur looks on. Shows invasion supplies in Army depots. Part 4, a damaged fighter plane lands on the deck of a carrier, Japanese planes are shot down, and the aircraft carrier Princeton is bombed by Japanese planes and explodes in the battle for Leyte. Part 5, Army vs. Notre Dame in football.
